About Us

Barstow Adult School has successfully provided a variety of on campus, online, independent study and distance learning educational programs since the COVID-19 Pandemic.

During Distance Learning our adult students utilize their personal devices to interact with their instructors during live sessions, complete program materials, review and utilize their textbooks and workbooks, complete projects and supplemental resources.

Online learning resources such as PLATO, GED, Aztec Software, and APEX remain active by using issued usernames and passwords.  While Distance Learning our teachers contact their students during scheduled live class sessions each week to provide distance learning opportunities which include virtual Zoom sessions, contact via email, and conference calls.  Student support and small group sessions are available on campus by appointment.

Pearson Vue (GED) and Adult Education CASAS testing sessions (Assessments, Pre Test and Post Testing) are held in person, on campus and completed by following all implemented health, social distancing and safety guidelines.
