Barstow Unified School District Trustee for Area 1, Juliet Barela, submitted her resignation from appointment to the Board of Trustees today.
Barstow Unified School District Trustee for Area 1, Juliet Barela, submitted her resignation from appointment to the Board of Trustees today. The resignation is effective immediately. 

Barela was appointed as Trustee for Area 1 following a second interview with the Board on August 13, 2024. She was appointed to fill the seat of Julie Clemmer, who retired from the Board in June. 

The seat for Trustee Area 1 will remain vacant until after the November 5, 2024, General Election.
